Kuala Lumpur’s version of Central Park, the KLCC Park spans 50-tropical-acres in KL’s downtown core. And it includes 2-acres of children’s playground equipment – a great place to do some pre-dinner playing. Be warned though, not many of the play structures are actually in the shade, making some of the slides quite hot for bare legs on sunny days. A better choice for the early afternoon is the wading and spray pool.
Jogging tracks, foot paths, covered shelters, and the 74 different species of trees and palms are other highlights. As well as the symphony fountain, which has performances at noon and 5 p.m. Get there early if you want a front row seat.
The park is adjacent to the Petronas Towers and Suria KLCC Mall.
