What They Ate: Roti canai, Kuala Lumpur

IMG_3951

Roti means bread in most North Indian languages as well as in Malay and Indonesian, but roti canai isn’t just any bread. It’s a flaky, grilled flatbread used to scoop up dahl or curry. Aaaaand, no, in case you were wondering this picky eater didn’t touch his dahl, but, yes, he did nibble on his roti.

Very cute! My daughter will eat just about anything, but my son is a challenge. Funny, but he does love Armenian food. Kids.
